This short film for Big Brothers Big Sisters is a 40-60 second documentary style walkthrough of a littles (mentees) day and how having a big (mentor) to help them through the challenges of school, social life, and hard times can have such a positive impact on their life. Having a big gives an outlet for talking about difficult situations, gives them a friend, gives them something to look forward to, let's them escape from normal life, and provides them with life advice and guidance.
I planned and wrote the story for this film to be emotional, and heartfelt to touch the hearts of potential volunteers and donors that are watching. Using professional videography, I wanted to highlight the emotions of Finn (the little) as he goes through a bad day, as well as the excitement of when his big arrives at the end of the day.
