Vivobarefoot’s vision is to reconnect people back to the earth with their footwear and to help build towards long-term environmental sustainability. When planning the shoot for their Magna Forest ESC model hiking boots, I wanted to showcase this, while also reminding viewers how much fun being out in nature is. So naturally, I planned the shoot in Yosemite National Park.

The goal of the content was to invoke emotion and show the adventurous lifestyle that escaping into nature brings. I also added a nostalgic touch to the film showcasing the importance of friends and the memories and stories that these kinds of adventures create. Emotion-driven content is always the goal and I strongly believe I achieved that here with this video.
