"Embracing Discomfort" is a film about exactly what it sounds like it’s about. I met a couple in Guatemala and ended up planning a trip with them to Iceland after meeting them for one day. They were practically still strangers. The experience we shared in those 24 hours in Guatemala shaped what would be an insane story heading to Iceland. I made this film because I believe a lot of us fall into the trap of comfort. We’re scared to make uncomfortable decisions and take risks. We’re scared of failure when at the same time we know failure is life's greatest teacher.
